Creating the Layout
Symbolize, lable, and do anything else to your data so it is presentable...
- Select 'Layout View' from the View pull-down-menu to enter layout mode
- You should now see the content of your active view frame
All of the following elements can be found under the Insert pull-down-menu from the layout view
- Scale Bar
- North Arrow
- Legend
- Title
- Neatline (map frame)
- Text (for citations, credits, and other textual information)
To change the properties of an element, right-click on that element and select Properties.
