ArcGIS Student Copy
ESRI offers a 1-year timeout version of ArcView 9.3 to students for educational purposes. Unlike the software we get under the University of Georgia ESRI site license, students can install the software on their personal computer. Students who are interested in this program, get your professor to submit a request to ESRI. Faculty, this link will take you to the page from which you can submit the request to ESRI.
Through this offer, you will get ArcGIS ArcView which differs from the ArcGIS ArcInfo software you use in the student computing labs only in functionality - the look and feel are exactly the same.
